Why we love this
A 1968 woodcut on paper entitled "Peace" by Bay-Area artist, Alysanne McGaffey (b. 1931). McGaffey is part of the Bay Area Figurative Movement and graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute. She still holds offices in several art organizations and continues to paint watercolors of the Pacific seashore in her Pacifica studio. Unframed, unsigned. Age wear.
