Why we love this
No Picnic on Mount Kenya by Felice Benuzzi. London: William Kimber, 1952. Benuzzi was an Italian diplomat, climber, and international swimmer in a prisoner-of-war camp in East Africa. With two companions, he broke out to make an attempt to climb Mount Kenya, with only makeshift equipment and hoarded rations. Red cloth binding, illustrated dust jacket. Shelf wear, edge tears to dust jacket, previous owners book plate.
