Why we love this
Eloise by Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight. New York: Simon & Schuster, 1955. First edition, uncorrected second printing. Book is in very good condition, jacket has edge wear and darkening to back. A rare version, with the original text, now different in many places. "Brooklyn Dodgers" instead of "New York Jets" on jacket. "My mother knows Lily Dache" became "Coco Chanel." "Here's what I like...Grass" became "Dandelions" and "I hate Peter Rabbit", now removed, amongst several other changes.
