Why we love this
Dr. No, by Ian Fleming. London: Jonathan Cape, 1958. Second printing, two months after the first. A rare copy of Bond's sixth adventure, set in the Caribbean, later turned into a successful movie starring Sean Connery. This was one of the distinctive, early jacket designs by Pat Marriot, repeated in brown on front book board, before Richard Chopping took over as designer for the rest of the series. Jacket has light dirt and staining to back, otherwise well-preserved.
