I love old books. I like to read them, to look at them, to decorate with them, and to use them for the perfect present (the ultimate form of recycling). I have been arranging my book shelves by color for quite a while and after helping friends and clients do the same, and seeing the growing trend, I decided to sell decorative book collections, thus DecadesofVintage. For me, decorating with books is like painting a picture or telling a story.
Why we love this

These books feature gilt page tops, marbled covers and end pages, annotated tissue protect full-color frontispieces, and deckle-edge pages. New York: James Clarke and Company, 1883 - 1888. Light patina to covers/leather.
