Why we love this
1970s wicker folk art monkey titled “Chango Cola Larga Codigo" with a matching wicker ball by folk artist Mario Lopez Torres of Ihuatzio, Michoacan, Mexico. The face is made of brass and the hands and feet are welded metal. Many of Lopez Torres' pieces are displayed in the National Museum of Mexican Art. Marked on back.
