Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Set of two prints from a 1930s folio featuring decorative costumes of French provinces. The costumes shown are from the provinces of Angoumois (southwestern France) and Bourbonnais (central France). The prints were produced through the pochoir process, a method of stenciling popular in France in the early 1900s. Each measures 9"L x 12"H. Includes a certificate with additional information. Unframed.
