Why we love this
Now We Are Six, by A. A. Milne. London: Methuen & Co., 1927. First UK printing of First Edition. A legendary collection of verses by Milne and illustrations by Ernest Shepard. This copy of the first edition has deep red boards with gilt illustrations and title, slightly worn. All pages are present, although one is partly ripped, down the inside edge. Binding has opened up in places, but still firm. Lacks original dust jacket, but still a good copy of a classic.
