Mike Seratt of The Prized Pig, based in Southern California, offers an eclectic, engaging and whimsical blend of vintage and antique pieces. The collection includes interesting —and often amusing — found objects, decorator accents and curiosities, all with a distinct charm. Mike searches continuously for elusive, one-of-a-kind items, and travels throughout the United States and Europe to make them available on One Kings Lane.
Why we love this
Pair of large custom-tailored Italian Mariano Fortuny pillows. Pillow fronts are a vintage/never used premium Egyptian cotton fabric from Fortuny called "Piumette" with a copper and silvery-gold colorway inspired from a 15th century Persian design. Pillow backs are a new/never used shimmering cinnamon silk Scalamandre velvet fabric. Pillows have fancy brush fringe trim, blind ladder-sewn shut closures and new plump generous goose down/feather inserts.
