Inspired by the natural world that surrounds her studio in California’s coastal mountains, artist Dawn Wolfe uses handmade and found papers to create beautiful, three-dimensional collages. Incorporating materials such as vintage wallpaper, hand-watercolored paper, and prints of vintage kimono patterns, Wolfe assembles each of her works by hand. This tactile process brings a sense of balance to the artist, a digital marketer by day. Wolfe often creates custom pieces, transforming personal mementos and keepsakes into one-of-a-kind works of art.
Why we love this

Seen first at One Kings Lane: In this limited-edition work from Dawn Wolf, a large piece of paper with a printed floral pattern is meticulously hand-pleated into a fan-like circle and displayed in a custom shadowbox frame. Full of color and depth, this piece is signed, dated, and numbered by the artist. Arrives ready to hang.
