Why we love this
Out of Africa by Isak Dinesen. New York: Random House, 1938. First printing. A very good copy of one of the rarest and most famous memoirs ever written. Shiny black cloth spine and rust-colored boards, golden flamingo embossed on front, in very good condition. Unclipped dust jacket is in good condition, with darkening and wear to spine and slight loss to spine top and corners. Still, a very collectible copy.
