Why we love this
Belle Époque French tole peinte birdcage with two feathered bird figures, circa 1871–1914. Hand-painted cage is green with floral accents. A bottom tray slides out for cleaning and two feeders swing out for filling. Raised on small corner feet with a hanging loop at the top. The feeders and door show a quatrefoil pattern and the cage spokes are set on an diagonal.Birds are wired to the sides. Minor wear, rust, one feeder is loose.
