Why we love this
Set of eight original lithographic prints by Mortimer Menpes. These prints are from Menpes' book Japan: A Record In Colour, published by Adam and Charles Black, printed in Soho Square, London, 1901. Each print has a gold leaf top edge and comes with its original title page. Mortimer Luddington Menpes (1855-1938), was an Australian-born artist, author, printmaker and illustrator, and member of several Royal Societies.
