Black-Eyed Susan's offers an inspiring collection of 19th-century English and French majolica pottery, Staffordshire ceramics, and unique objets d’art. With over 25 years of experience in the trade, Susan carefully considers the aesthetic and condition of each antique treasure she acquires.
Why we love this
English majolica plate in a rustic, aesthetic pattern of leaves on a brown bark-like ground and showing two butterflies, circa 1880. The leaves are glazed predominately in green with edges tinged in pink and yellow. The scalloped rim is glazed in yellow and the underside features mottled glazing and yellow centers numbered by the glazer. Marked on underside.
