A large, heavy, well balanced sterling silver handled carving knife in the Acorn pattern, circa 1945. The Acorn pattern was designed for Jenson Silversmiths by Johan Rohde in 1915.The handle shows the makers mark and Denmark, Sterling, the blade is marked Frank Cobb, Stainless Steel, Sheffield – England.Excellent – the blade shows circular markings from a sharpening wheel.
