Why we love this
This weathered, yet charming painting of St. Joseph holding the Christ child on tin from Colonial Mexico, 19th Century. Painted with oil paints on tin with beautiful detailing and coloration, framed in a gold gilt hand carved frame. The piece is severely blemished, primarily on the faces where followers and worshipers would rub their faces.
