Why we love this
Less Than Zero by Bret Easton Ellis. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1985. First printing. A perfect copy, apart from small remainder mark to lower book edge. This was Ellis's very first novel, now highly collectible for fans of his shocking observations of the '80s social breakdown. Given that his later novel American Psycho would make him notorious, the detached viewpoint seems all the more prophetic.
