Oil on board by Samuel Mutzner (b. 1884). Mutzner studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest between 1899 and 1900. At 17 he attended the Royal Academy of Fine Art in Munich where he studied under Karl Raupp, Anton Arbe, and Simon Hollosoy. In 1903 he attended the Julian Art School. He painted in Europe, Japan, and Venezuela. Present in major museums and important collections. Signed lower right.
