Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Pair of original hand colored engravings from a French course on botany titled "Flora Lessons". Based on illustrations by Pierre Turpin (1775-1840) regarded as one of the greatest botanical illustrators of the Napoleonic era. Shown are overall views and details for the Jonquil Narcissus and Eastern Gladiolus. Each print, 4.5"L x 7.5"H. Includes a certificate with additional information and copy of accompanying text pages.
