A 1979 graduate of the University of California in aesthetic studies and fine art photography, I have spent many years photographing the California mountains and coast. I met Ansel Adams in 1979 at his Carmel studio and have been collecting California plein air paintings since 1986. I offer a wide variety of artists and genres and hope you enjoy my passion for paintings and sculpture.
Why we love this
Hand-colored steel engraving of British and American soldiers in hand-to-hand combat during the Battle of Bunker Hill by John Trumbull (American, 1789-1843). Published and printed by Samuel Walker. Trumbull's paintings of major episodes in the American Revolution form a unique record of that conflicts' events and participants. Displayed in a giltwood frame. "Battle at Bunker's Hill Published by Samuel Walker, Boston, 1854" on bottom. Image, 11"L x 9"H.
