Why we love this
The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien. Boston: Houghton Mifflin, approx. 1965. 22nd printing of the second edition. 315 pp. A fine hardcover copy with minor wear and owner name. Good, unclipped dust jacket ($3.95) is bright, with slightly worn edges and a significant chip missing from spine top. Early editions of this era have become most collectible. Illustrated endpapers and text illustrations by Tolkien himself.
