Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Original cover from Fortune magazine in 1946 titled "Britain in Winter". Accompanied an article about Britain in its first winter of peace following the end of World War II in Europe. Based on a design by the American artist Edward McKnight Kauffer (1890-1954) who spent much of his life in Britain. Displayed in a conservation mat to fit a standard frame size. Image, 10"L x 13"H; overall, 16"L x 20"H. Includes a certificate with additional information and copy of the issue table of contents.
