Why we love this
French majolica wall plate with a pale olive green Greek key border and a forest green beaded rim. A central pattern shows overlapping ferns, sprays of five-petaled pink flowers and a large leaf, their stems tied with a lavender bow. Strong clear color on the front contrasts with a pale turquoise ground to the verso. Marked Choisy le Roi, H.B. Boulanger, dating from the late 19th century.
