Oil on board still life painting by Herbert Leonard (French b. 1911). Originally from Aix-en-Provence, he moved to Dijon at an early age where he fell in love with nature. Known for his impasto style, Leonard gained notoriety at his personal exhibitions in Munich, Berlin, and Paris. Today, his works are present in European collections. Signed lower right.
