Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Original 1870s chromolithograph of an American Quail (or Partridge) based on an illustration by Theodore Jasper (1814-1897), a German-born American painter and colorist. Print was part of a folio of birds of North America. Displayed in a conservation mat that fits a standard frame size. Image, 9.5"L x 13"H; overall, 16"L x 20"H. Includes a certificate with additional information, and copy of accompanying text page..
