Why we love this
An oversize Leeds style platter, a Pearlware or Creamware body with a deep green edge called Feather or Shell, circa 1825–1840, Staffordshire, England. This platter has a wide rim and a deep set center. The clean white body contrasts beautifully with the bright green edging. Maker unknown, an impressed number ’18’ mark on the verso as shown. Excellent antique condition, the expected light surface wear. No biting, crazing or lining.
