Why we love this
A late 18th-Century to early 19th-Century Scandinavian Nordic pine steamed bentwood box with hand painted early rosemaling decoration. This folk art box is all hand made and retains the original paint decoration. The paint is reddish brown in color, it has softened over the last 200+ years. It also retains the original paper liner. No maker's mark.
