Whether your interests lie in poetry, art history, first editions of modern classics, or getting hold of some favorite childhood book, this is the perfect way to rediscover the best books from the last 70 years. Unless indicated, almost all books are US or UK first editions and all defects are noted.
Why we love this
The Great Train Robbery by Michael Crichton. New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1975. First printing. The increasingly collectible fourth novel by the (then still obscure) master of the scientific thriller. Crichton vividly re-creates the atmosphere aboard a Victorian train, as a daring heist takes place between London and Paris. Book contains a Club Library book-plate from The Madison Club, otherwise perfect.
