Why we love this
Mr Sammler's Planet by Saul Bellow. New York: Viking Press, 1970. First printing. The National Book Award winner for 1971. An excellent copy of the first edition of this memorable novel about how to transcend the many evils of this planet we live on. Bellow's Mr. Sammler has survived a concentration camp and nothing can shock him now. Jacket, now protected, has very minor edge wear. Fine book in very good, unclipped dust jacket. Highly collectible hardcover.
