Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Pair of original New Yorker covers from 1941 featuring the fashion industry in New York City's Garment District. The covers are by Constantin Alajalov (May 10, 1941) and Arthur Getz (November 15, 1941), two artists who frequently contributed to the New Yorker during its early years of publication. Each cover: 8"L x 12"H. Includes a certificate with additional information.
