Why we love this
Mary Poppins Opens the Door by P. L. Travers. New York: Harcourt Brace, 1940s. Second edition. First appearing in 1943, published by Reynal and Hitchcock in the austerity of the war, this is a later printing, as the publisher has changed on the copyright page, but not on the jacket. Book and the excellent, clipped jacket are in exceptional condition. This is the third book in the Mary Poppins series, illustrated by Mary Shepard and Agnes Sims. Hardcover.
