Why we love this
French majolica fan-shaped asparagus server, circa 1880. Attributed to either Lunéville or Salins. Triangular with a sauce well formed of a large leaf with a raised tassel motif. Overlapping artichoke leaves and four straight asparagus spears sit on a raised pattern of twigs and berries. Book Reference: pg. 150, “Artichauts et Asperges en Barbotine” by Maryse Bottero. Overall light craquelure.
