Why we love this
Antique Chinese cloisonne ginger jar decorated with flowers in vibrant shades of aqua, pink, green, red and yellow enamel on a dramatic black enamel and copper spiral wire background, circa 1900. The chrysanthemums on one side represent autumn, longevity and humility; and the plum blossoms represent winter, endurance and courage. Marked “China.” Light wear with loss of enamel near tiny ding and inside lid.
