Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Pair of original 1888 chromolithographs showing a variety of fashions worn by Italian men. From a work by the 19th-century French fashion historian Henri Racinet. The fashions include those of the military, a Venetian gentleman, gondoliers, jugglers and circus performers. Each print, 8"L x 6.5"H. Includes a certificate with additional information and copy of the legend that accompanies each print identifying the fashions.
