Why we love this
19th-C. English oak cupboard. The crown has egg and dart detail and carved dolphins, embellished with hand-turned finials. On the sides, there are Gothic brackets, following down to a shelf atop corner curio doors, with handblown glass panels separated by mullions, which open to reveal shelving. The central part of the cupboard has two paneled doors, one with the date 1897,all-over two drawers, which are serpentine in shape and molded. The piece is supported upon hand-carved paw feet.
