Captivated by decorative flourishes discovered while wheeling their toddlers’ strollers through European villages, architect Karen Dunning and husband Lee founded Chez Vous in 1996 to bring a bit of that aesthetic to American homes. Handpicked offerings range from fun and funky to lovely and semi-precious. Chez Vous definitely doesn’t take itself too seriously. This down-to-earth approach to hunting and gathering decorative treasures results in incredible finds at incredible prices.
Why we love this
Large French hand-thrown confit pot. The two-handled exterior is unglazed with scored rings around the neck and an eased rim. The interior has a glossy taupe glaze. Discovered at an antique market in Provence. Marked "LL" on base. Minor wear; small glaze flaw from fabrication and hairline crack in the interior glazing.
