Why we love this
A French, Digoin Sarreguemines majolica glazed earthenware oyster plate, six blue-lined wells rest on a green seaweed bed, with a central sauce well shaped as a brown starfish. Circa 1890. Great color on a dimensional, heavy mold.Book Reference: Pg. 117, “Collecting Oyster Plates” by Jeffrey Snyder.Excellent
