Why we love this
Out of Africa by Isak Dinesen. New York: Random House, 1938. First printing. A very good copy of one of the rarest and more famous memoirs ever written. The book, with shiny black leather spine and rust-colored boards, with a golden flamingo embossed on front, is in almost perfect condition, although a previous owner has stamped a faint typed address to end pages and boards. The unclipped jacket is in good condition, with small fading to spine and slight wear to spine tips and back.
