Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Original lithograph from a 1920s folio of French architecture. Based on sketches by the American artist Samuel Chamberlain (1895-1975), made during his tour of duty in France during World War I. This print shows architectural details of 16th century wrought iron gates and locks. Displayed in a conservation mat that fits a standard-size frame. Image: 8"L x 11"H; overall: 14"L x 18"H. Includes a certificate with additional information.
