Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Hand-colored aquatint from an 1830s folio of the manor homes (or country seats) of the "Royal Family, Nobility and Gentry of England." This print shows Poltimores near the village of Devon, seat of Sir George Warwick Bamfylde, an English barrister. Displayed in a conservation mat to fit a standard-size frame. Image: 8"L x 5"H; overall: 14"L x 11"H. Includes a certificate with additional information and copy of accompanying text page.
