A 1979 graduate of the University of California in aesthetic studies and fine art photography, I have spent many years photographing the California mountains and coast. I met Ansel Adams in 1979 at his Carmel studio and have been collecting California plein air paintings since 1986. I offer a wide variety of artists and genres and hope you enjoy my passion for paintings and sculpture.

Golden fields by John Varley (British, 1778-1842). Indistinct signature lower left. Artwork has been professionally ph balanced and cleaned. Presented in archival matting. Unframed. Image size, 5"H x 8"W. With a letter from Jacob (Jack) Isaacs (1896-1973) on verso notating a John Varley watercolor circa 1800, he was chair of English language and literature at Queen Mary College). Varley was one of the founders of the Old Watercolour Society (1805) he exhibited over 700 works there.
