Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Original 1860s lithograph from a guide to French classical cooking practiced while in service to the Czar of Russia. Shown are a variety of cake presentations including a savarin (light cake soaked in a liquer-flavored syrup), babka and a cake made of vanilla biscuits. Displayed in a conservation mat ready for framing. Image: 8"L x 11"H; overall: 13"L x 16"H. Includes a certificate with additional information, and copy of accompanying recipe pages.
