Why we love this
19th-century English oak sideboard. The top has a plate rail and follows down to paneled sides and three drawers on the front, all with geometric molded patterns, flanked by hand-carved decoration. The front legs are hand-turned in a graduated barley twist pattern, and are very unusual as the twist is carved decorated with vines. The back legs are simple for placing against a wall, and they are joined by a lower serpentine shelf.
