Why we love this
Folk art garden sculpture in the form of a long-tailed bird. Made by Emile Taugourdeau (1917-1989). Taugourdeau created a "garden zoologique" on his property in Thoree les Pins, France and filled it with fanciful animals, people, and whimsies. During his life, it was open for visitors but was closed by the family upon his death; this piece was acquired directly from the family. Minor weathering, patina.
