Why we love this
The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1966. Second Edition, fourteenth printing. First appearing in 1926, this is a lovely copy of the Second Edition, put out by Scribner's in a standard format with his other classics, in a great 1950s dust jacket by Johannes Troyer. Hemingway's direct style and dialogue gives this novel, concerning expatriate drifters in Europe between the wars, a sense of grand significance.
