Italian born Domenica Grande grew up with the beauty of decors that mix and match pieces and esthetics of different eras. As an interior designer, she carried on that tradition while working on projects in stately Roman villas. Now in Miami, Grande is the owner of Nihil Novi, Latin for "nothing new," and is known for incorporating vintage objects and furnishings into contemporary interiors.
Why we love this
Pair of 1950s teakwood lamps by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates. One has a natural teak finish and one has a black finish. Original wiring in working condition; each takes a 50W-max standard bulb. Light general wear. The brown lamp has some patina on brass accents and few small scratches on wood. The black one has a yellow ring on the shade (due probably to a strong light bulb) and some small scratches on wood.
