1950s vintage French Louis XV-style salon needlepoint fanteuil armchair featuring an off-white painted wood frame accented with beautifully carved floral and scrolling details. Chair is upholstered with a needlepoint tapestry textile depicting a stunning and colorful floral design on a pink and off-white background. Back of chair is a newly upholstered in a light golden cotton velvet fabric. No maker's mark. Seat: 17.5"H; arm, 25"H. Frame, light scuffs/wear; upholstery, excellent.
