Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Original hand colored engravings of North American flowers published in the early 1800s in the British horticultural journal "The Botanical Register". Shown are the Hairy-cupped Liatris (1818, native to the Carolinas and Virginia), and the Eight-rayed Rudbeckia (1821, native to the Carolinas and Illinois). Each print measures 6"L x 9.5"H. Includes a certificate with additional information and original pages of text.
