Why we love this

Seen first at One Kings Lane: This original abstract work from Kim Collinson is composed with an incredible sense of depth using a layered blend of complementary hues. Painted on canvas, this unframed piece arrives ready to hang. Kim Collinson is a modern abstract painter whose works are vibrant, spontaneous, and soulful. She creates depth in her paintings with energetic brushwork, a palette knife, and most importantly, color. Kim is inspired by the natural beauty of the world around her; from Georgia's sprawling canopy of magnolias and pines to California's breathtaking coastline and dramatically windswept oceanside cliffs.
