Why we love this
Pair of British Naval cannon powder buckets decorated with the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom. Originally used to store powder charges for the cannons during the time of the Napoleonic wars. Each constructed from a staved wood barrel with three bolsters, covered with canvas inside and out; brass lashing hardware affixed with copper and hand-peened rivets. Light wear.
